All payments must be cleared funds before goods are despatched. 4. Validation Checks In addition, in the interests of preventing fraudulent use of credit, debit and charge cards, Parking Control Services will validate the names, addresses and other information supplied during the order process with the card issuer. Delivery of Goods Goods can be delivered either to your home address or to any specified alternative address or to your work (subject to the possibility of additional delivery charges as referred to in the previous paragraph, in respect of non UK mainland and remote addresses and locations), but we will have fulfilled our delivery obligations to you if we arrange delivery to the delivery address provided by you in your online order (or if no specific delivery address is given to us, by delivery to your own address as provided to us). Your order will be delivered either by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or by Courier. Restrictions on Ordering and Delivery We can deliver to most addresses in the U.K. However we will not accept delivery addresses outside the UK unless otherwise agreed. Please telephone 0800 970 5109 for non-UK destinations. If we can supply to an address outside the UK we will agree delivery costs and charges and anticipated despatch and delivery dates with you. Please note that you must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from our site. The importation or exportation of certain of our goods to you may be prohibited by certain national laws. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchase . 9. Complaints and Queries 10. Cancellation of Contract by you and Unwanted Goods 10a) By Post. You are advised to obtain a certificate of posting (available from all Post Offices at no charge) when returning items by post. 10b) By Courier. If you would like us to uplift an unwanted item we can arrange this via a courier at a collection cost, call for details this charge will be deducted from the refund we will issue; and 10c) Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract
in respect of such goods, any sum debited to us from your credit card
will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event
within 30 days of your order PROVIDED THAT the goods in question are
returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when
delivered to you. If you do not return the goods delivered to you or
do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct 11. Faulty Goods and Liability 11a) By post. You are advised to return a certificate of posting (available
from all Post Offices at no charge) when returning items by post. If
the item is faulty we will re-imburse you the postage costs. Save as precluded by law, we will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem you notify to us under this condition and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question under clause 6.2(c) above. Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence. 12. Each spike is housed in its own cartridge that can be conveniently moved in rotation to get maximum wear or replaced if necessary. (Please note the spike has been tested to 3million two hundred and twenty five thousand, six hundred, operations in a period of five days) Should you have cause to replace a cartridge due to unforeseen damage it can be replaced quickly and simply by Just unbolting the two fixing bolts, this is also convenient for periodic maintenance of the spike (i.e. lubrication and Removable of possible debris).
